According to the port’s general manager, Mohammad Reza Shahsavari, 10 containers of machinery was cleared and dispatched to a factory in Yazd Province. He said multi-modal transportation is one of the advantages of transportation through Pishgaaman Dry Port which will facilitate the procedures for merchants across Iran. Container depot center of Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line inside the Dry Port enables the merchants to leave their empty containers in the Dry Port, without paying extra costs to return them to the southern ports.
