The MP made the comment in a visit to Pishgaaman Dry Port, reiterating the necessity of popular participation. Mohammad Saleh Jokar stressed that state economy cannot meet the country’s requirements but popular participation in the form of cooperatives are essential both in manufacturing sector and service sector.
According to Jokar, Pishgaaman Dry Port is a successful example for creation of employment and value added and has acted as a suitable role for Yazd province.
The MP expressed hope that increasing port operations in Dry Port would help the province witness boom in the economy.
