Mr. Ali Ebrahimi, a member of the board of directors of the State Livestock Affairs Logistics Company, visited different parts of Pishgaman Dry Port, including mechanized roofed and open warehouses, double-circuit refrigerators and customs, and said its infrastructure are unique and valuable and emphasized on using the existing capacities in order to increase the possibility of supplying and maintaining the country's livestock inputs.
Mr. Ebrahimi, stating that the supply of the country's protein under the guidance of the government should be handed over to the powerful private sector.
He reminded the constitutional capacity for privatization and specified: Pishgaman Dry Port, in the center of the country and in the north-south and east-west corridors of the country, can be a suitable ground for the development of programs for the supply and maintenance of the country's livestock inputs.
Mr. Riahi, the CEO and member of the board of director of Pishgaman Dry Port, also mentioned the good capacities and existing powerful infrastructure, non-use of governmental facilities and use of public micro-capitals and being cooperative are as the strong point of Pishgaman Dry Port and announced readiness to develop maintenance capacity of country's livestock inputs in the mechanized warehouses of Dry Port.
The CEO of Pishgaman Dry Port considered completing the internal rail and road communication routes of Dry Port at this year as a basis for the presence of investors in various fields, including power plant, greenhouse activities and opportunities for construction and repair of wagons and containers. He expressed hope that by launching the next phases of Dry Port will significantly improve the sustainable employment capacity of the province and the country.
