Collaboration Between Pishgaman Dry Port and Amirabad Port Expands


The CEOs of Pishgaman Dry Port and Pishgaman Masir Talaei Noor met with the Director General of Amirabad Port for discussions about expand collaboration.

According to the public relations office of Pishgaman Dry Port, in this meeting, Zahoori, the CEO of Pishgaman Dry Port Cooperative, emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with Amirabad Port, highlighting the capacities and facilities of Pishgaman Dry Port.

The CEO of Pishgaman Dry Port Cooperative invited the CEO of Amirabad Port to visit their facilities.

Amini-Babak, the CEO of Pishgaman Masir Talaei Noor Cooperative, stated in this meeting that the cooperative offers commercial, agricultural, production, distribution, warehousing services, and the supply of inputs for livestock and poultry.

He emphasized that one of the facilities of Pishgaman Golden Route Noor is a 50,000-tonnes grain silo designed for storing animal and poultry feed, consisting of 8 metal silos and 2 mechanized warehouses on an 8-hectare area. It is equipped with a wagon and trailer unloading system with a capacity of 200 Tonnes per hour, along with two 60-tonnes scales and two 80-tonnes hoppers for loading onto trucks.

Mousavi-Pour Gorji, the Director General of Amirabad Port, expressed hope during this meeting that with specialized meetings, the actions taken, and the creation of attractions and discounts in rail transport tariffs, there would be an encouragement for traders and commodity owners, and the continuation of this trend in unloading and loading goods, especially essential goods, at Amirabad Port.

The director of the largest port on the Caspian Sea stated that the construction of Amirabad Port is based on rail-based transport and added that frequent loading and stops at warehouses, reduced transport time, decreased environmental pollution, fuel savings, and the reduction of road accidents and casualties are among the key advantages of the rail transport method for goods.
