According to the public relations of Pishgaman Dry Port, Mr. Mohammad Hussein Riahi, stated that the necessary infrastructure of dry port has been provided for the operation of all its phases, also the required infrastructure in launching the second phase, including side roads and railways, with the aim of expanding space in dry port is developed.
He added: so far, more than 10 km of railway line, including main lines and stop lines in Shunting Yard, has been implemented in Pishgaman Dry Port, which has provided the necessity of the first phase activities.
The CEO of Pishgaman Dry Port considered that the development plan of new railway line, is included the infrastructure and laying of 7 km of hot railway line and auxiliary arms for unloading and loading and said: more than 5.3 km of these lines are being installed and can be exploitable within the next month.
Mr. Riahi stated that the investment cost of the installing lines is over 200 billion Rial and expressed hope that by the operation of these lines, provide the possibility of wider activities of rail transportation in Shunting Yard and the establishment of service companies in the fields of rail and road transportation and maintenance, livestock inputs, greenhouse products and other envisaged services in the second phase.
The CEO of Pishgaman Dry Port expressed hope that by Completion and commissioning of future phases and presence of numerous investors, we will be able to enjoy more economic development and sustainable employment.
