The emphasis was made during a visit by the deputy head of Iran Railways, Nourollah Beiranvand, and Iran Railways Commercial Manager, Sadeq Tokhmeh Chian, to different parts of Pishgaaman Dry Port where the two officials were briefed on various activities and services provided at the port. Beiranvand praised innovation and creativity in Pishgaaman Dry Port, pointing to new ideas alongside investment. According to him, gathering all the segments of Pishgaaman supply chain has been an inventive move which can be considered solutions to tackle some of the economic problems in the country. He then confirmed establishment of systematic cooperation between Iran Railways and Pishgaaman Dry port, saying information exchange is the foremost step to bolster such cooperation. He added that speed, costs, and quality along with security and safety are among the crucial elements of the transportation system in the country while a network vision, strategic cooperation and exploiting logistic infrastructure are effective in enhancing performance of railway system.
