Official Inauguration of Pishgaman Dry Port with the Presence of the First Vice President

Mr. Mohammad Reza Shahsavari, noted that the first phase of Pishgaman Dry Port has been built on a 700-hectare land, also explained: This complex will be officially inaugurated on Saturday, March 7, with the presence of Mr. Jahangiri, the First Vice President.

He added: The first phase of Pishgaman Dry Port Cooperative Company includes: 15,000-ton cold storage, two warehouses of 10,000 square meters, customs and shunting yards, and a rail connection of dry port station to the national rail.

Managing Director of Pishgaman Dry Port Cooperative of Yazd, stating that the first phase of Pishgaman Dry Port Cooperative Company has employed 70 people directly and 700 people indirectly, said: 275 Billion Tomans has been invested to set up this economic center.

Mr. Shahsavari, stating that the Pishgaman Dry Port of Yazd has 45,000 shareholders, continued: In the next phases of this port, a 120-hectare hydroponic greenhouse, a powerful national transportation company, a depot of goods and warehouses, etc. will be put into operation that brings a lot of employment.
